In her twelfth year, following an early childhood filled with happiness, this daughter of an elven mother and a human father isolated herself in the forests of Payon to grieve in silence the death of her four year old sister. Unable to snatch the child from the rampage of riding Knights, June lives in haunting guilt. But in emerging into a world where the ties with other beings are formed again, she wonders if it's best to just forget certain things and live with complete heart and mind, for others and for herself, especially. After all, what does it matter, when there's nothing in this place now but the future? She tries. Really, she does.
